Advanced Enrichment: Includes rotating modules in Guitar, Chess, Clay Sculpture, Tai Chi, and Calligraphy.
Intentional Play: Grounded in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Program (PYP) philosophy. All toys and learning corners (STEAM/Science, role-play, games) are carefully selected for educational construction and rotated regularly.
Studio Amenities: Students have full access to a custom kids' library of art books, supervised play structures, and curated physical activities.
🚀 NEW: Free-Form Art & Exploration: Designed to champion independent thinkers and honor your child's creative voice, this class lets young artists lead their own projects while we act as collaborative partners—offering guided problem-solving to help turn their unique ideas into real-world masterpieces.
Student / Teacher ratio 5/1: This ensures small group sizes where every child receives close, personalized attention and mentorship.
Program hours 2:30-5:30 (+early dismissals!): providing a seamless afternoon transition straight from school dismissal into a safe, engaging environment.
Outdoor Activities: Regular supervised walks to nearby green spaces like St. Leo's for play and nature walks, plus occasional trips to the Morcom Rose Garden on early pickup days.

My daughters have experienced MANY summer camps over the years, and Atelier and Art Lessons of Brett Tapia has by far been their favorite! My daughters take art pretty seriously and really enjoyed the small, quiet environment that A&A provided them. Their artwork completely blew me away at the end of the week and Brett and Hannah are really kind! I would highly recommend for any art forward child!

My son has been coming to this studio for a few months and has really enjoyed his classes. He’s been intensely focused on painting at home, and Brett has provided a space for him to hone and explore his painting skills and artistic expression. With a small class size, he’s able to personalize the experience and cater to each kid’s learning style. We’re excited for how our kiddo will continue progressing!

I was the winner of a 4-week session at the Atelier in a school raffle and used it for my 6 years old daugther. She loved the experience at the Atelier every week. The staff was very nice and welcoming to her. She had a lot of fun doing the art project and playing in the play area afterwards as well. The space was beautiful, clean, and fully equipped for the art lessons and after-school activities that it offers.
